Jefferies inked a two-year, entry-level contract with the Islanders on Friday.
Jefferies spent four seasons with Merrimack College after he was drafted in the fourth round, 121st overall, in 2020. He played 10 games with AHL Bridgeport after his career at college ended in March, scoring three times and adding three assists. Look for Jefferies to start next season in the AHL.
