Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Status not looking good

Palmieri's lower-body injury is still being evaluated, but head coach Patrick Roy acknowledged that initial reports weren't good, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports Friday.

Palmieri was hurt during Friday's game versus the Flyers. The winger should probably be expected to miss some time going forward. Maxim Tsyplakov will likely draw into the lineup should Palmieri officially be forced to sit out.
