Hamonic scored and recorded four shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Saturday.
The 26-year-old broke a 34-game goalless drought, scoring for his first time since Oct. 30. Hamonic also hadn't posted at least four shots since Dec. 18. Clearly, he's not an offensive defenseman, but what's really killing owners is his career-worst minus-20 rating. Furthermore, Hamonic is averaging three fewer minutes per game this season than 2015-16. Owners are better off leaving Hamonic on the waiver wire.
