Jasper Weatherby: Released from tryout

Weatherby was released from his professional tryout with the Oilers on Wednesday.

Weatherby was in NHL camp on a tryout, but he'll now report to AHL Bakersfield. While he doesn't have an NHL-level contract yet, the 26-year-old could still earn one if he impresses with Bakersfield.
