Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Designated for injured reserve

Kuemper (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Kuemper was injured in Monday's clash with Dallas and will now need to miss at least the next three games after the team put him on IR. With the available roster spot, Pheonix Copley was called up from the minors in a corresponding move and figures to serve as the No. 2 option behind Anton Forsberg while Kuemper is on the shelf.
