Kraken's Colin Blackwell: Slated to miss start of season

Blackwell (lower body) is not expected to be ready for the Kraken's Opening Night game versus the Golden Knights next Tuesday, Bob Condor of the Kraken's official site reports.

Blackwell has been sidelined for all of training camp with the lower-body injury, and it appears his absence will cost him at least one regular-season game. The 28-year-old would likely slot into a bottom-six role once he's healthy, though it could take him some time to get up to speed.
