Maple Leafs' Marshall Rifai: Suffers upper-body injury

Rifai sustained an upper-body injury during Thursday's preseason tilt against Montreal and won't return to the game.

Rifai had three goals, 13 points and 77 PIM in 63 regular-season appearances with AHL Toronto in 2024-25. He's expected to spend most, if not all, of the upcoming campaign in the minors.
