Wanner didn't receive a qualifying offer from the Bruins, and he'll become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday, Belle Fraser of the Bruins' official site reports.
Wanner was traded to the Bruins from the Oilers in March of 2025, but he didn't make his NHL debut with Boston. He played primarily for AHL Providence last year, logging a goal, two assists and 11 PIM in 29 regular-season games.
