Panthers' Alex True: Put on waivers

The Panthers placed True on waivers Friday.

True signed a one-year, two-way contract after spending last two seasons in the Kraken organization. True had 11 goals and 32 points in 72 games with AHL Coachella Valley last season. He's produced five assists over 27 career NHL games across three seasons.
