Predators' Nick Cousins: Out with lower-body injury

Cousins is considered week-to-week after suffering a lower-body issue, the team announced Monday.

Based on the team's release, Cousins should be expected to miss at least the next two matches due to his lower-body issue. The 28-year-old center has tallied just one goal in his last nine contests but should still have enough time to get back over the 20-point threshold once cleared to return. In the meantime, Filip Forsberg will almost certainly reclaim his spot on the first line, though Matt Duchene could also be an option.
