Rangers' Daniel Catenacci: Traded to Rangers

Catenacci was traded to the Rangers from the Sabres on Tuesday in exchange for fellow minor leaguer Mat Brodie.

Catenacci makes his way over to a new club for the first time in his career after being drafted by Buffalo in 2011. The 23-year-old forward has played in 50 games for AHL Rochester this season, putting up marginal offensive stats -- five goals and eight assists. He's not likely to be one of the first call-ups for the Rangers, but even if he is, don't expect him to snag a top-six role anytime soon.
