Rangers' Matt Beleskey: Skates Thursday

Beleskey (shoulder) took to the ice as part of Thursday's optional skate, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

The fact that Beleskey -- who remains on injured reserve -- was able to skate with his teammates is certainly an important step in his recovery, but his timeline remains unchanged with an expected return date of Oct. 25 against Chicago.
