Red Wings' Jake Chelios: Sent to waivers

Chelios was waived by the Red Wings on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Chelios is 27 years old and still looking to make his NHL debut. It's likely that he'll clear waivers and head to AHL Grand Rapids.
