Subban has undergone surgery to address his upper-body injury and is expected to miss the rest of the 2021-22 campaign.
Subban drew into just four games with the Sabres before suffering his season-ending injury, going 0-2-1 while posting an ugly 4.86 GAA and .871 save percentage over that span. Subban is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, and he may need to settle for a two-way contract considering he's been lackluster at best with stops in Boston, Vegas, Chicago and Buffalo through the first eight years of his career.
