Mann was not qualified by San Jose on Friday and will become an unrestricted free agent, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Mann posted a 3.32 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 20 AHL appearances last season. He has yet to make his NHL debut.
