However, he held up well against a flurry of shots from Carolina, who placed 39 shots on goal in Saturday's meeting. Overall, the 25-year-old Knight now holds a 1-3-0 record, a 3.80 GAA and an .885 save percentage across four outings in 2026-27. The young netminder has displayed elite flashes of play in the past, but until Chicago's defensive unit can shore things up behind the blue line, Knight is a difficult player to trust in fantasy. If called upon, his next opportunity to bounce back will be in Tuesday's matchup against the Penguins.

Bussi turned aside 24 of 26 shots on net in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Bussi posted his strongest statistical game of the 2026-27 campaign thus far in Saturday's big win. He turned away every shot he saw in the first period and surrendered just a goal per stanza the rest of the way. With Saturday's victory, the 28-year-old netminder now has a 2-1-1 record, a 2.95 GAA and an .871 save percentage across four appearances. After a rocky start to the new season, the second-year goalie appears to be settling in one game at a time. He remains a solid No. 2 option between the pipes in fantasy, and while Pyotr Kochetkov will likely appear Sunday in the second half of Carolina's back-to-back, Bussi has a strong chance to return to action in Tuesday's clash against the Capitals.

Swayman made 14 saves Saturday in a 5-1 win over the Flyers.

He wasn't really tested Saturday, but that's not a surprise given the stumbling start the Flyers have experienced. With the victory, Swayman tied Andy Moog (136) for the eighth-most wins in Bruins history. He's now 4-1-0 with one shutout, a 1.79 GAA and a .932 save percentage in five starts.

Vladar made 27 saves in a 5-1 loss to Boston on Saturday.

Vladar hasn't done anything early in the year to dispel the notion that he should be benched. He has allowed 15 goals in three winless outings. Vladar's 5.08 GAA and .857 save percentage pale in comparison to Joseph Woll's 2.61 GAA and .927 save percentage; Woll is 0-1-2 thus far, but he should get more starts soon because he's been much better than Vladar.

Markstrom turned aside 25 of 28 shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Wild, with Minnesota's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

The veteran netminder had no answer for Kirill Kaprizov, who scored three of the Wild's four goals and assisted on the fourth. It's Markstrom's first regulation loss in his return to South Florida. Through four starts to begin the season, he's gone 2-1-1 with a .916 save percentage.

Husso is set to start on the road against Calgary on Saturday, per Ducks play-by-play broadcaster Aaron Cooney.

Husso will get his first start of the season after stopping both of the shots he faced in 15:58 of ice time during a relief appearance against Edmonton on Wednesday. He had a 10-8-2 record, 3.25 GAA and .884 save percentage in 20 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. The Flames are off to a rough 0-4-0 start while averaging just 1.50 goals per game.

Wallstedt stopped 29 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Panthers.

The only shot to get past him came early in the second period, as Matthew Tkachuk kept the puck on a 2-on-1 and banged home his own rebound. Wallstedt has started all five of the Wild's games so far, going 3-1-1 with a stellar .936 save percentage as he holds down the fort until Filip Gustavsson (hip) is cleared to return, which isn't expected to happen until November.

Hart will protect the home goal versus the Kings on Saturday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Hart has won two of his three outings, allowing eight goals on 73 shots. The 28-year-old netminder appears dialed in as the Golden Knights' top goalie. The Kings have scored nine goals over their first three games, but they haven't won yet.

Kuemper will guard the road goal versus the Golden Knights on Saturday, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

Kuemper will get a tough assignment, as Vegas has won four of its first five games of the season, scoring at least three goals in each outing. Meanwhile, Kuemper has given up 10 goals on 59 shots over his two losses. The 36-year-old netminder's slow start makes him a risky fantasy option, especially against tough opponents.

Askarov made 17 saves in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Edmonton.

The young netminder didn't get much offensive support. He also gave up at least three goals for a fourth straight start to begin the season. Askarov has a 2-2-0 record, but his .860 save percentage leaves a lot to be desired and could open the door for Alex Nedeljkovic to take on more of the work in the crease.
