Dach (undisclosed) will likely be in the lineup against the Mammoth on Saturday, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

In order for Dach to suit up Saturday, he'll need to be activated off injured reserve, which will clear the way for him to return to the lineup. In his three games prior to getting hurt, Dach failed to register a point while producing five shots, eight hits and three blocks. With Dach back in the lineup, Josh Samanski could be headed to the press box as a healthy scratch.

Hyman (undisclosed) will play in Saturday's game against the Mammoth, Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton reports.

Hyman has missed the last six games due to an undisclosed injury, but he's been cleared to return for Saturday's road matchup. During his lone appearance this season, he was held scoreless with three shots on goal, two hits and a plus-1 rating in 20:33 of ice time during a 6-5 loss to Vancouver on Sept. 29.

Head coach Glen Gulutzan said Friday that Back broke his finger and will miss 4-6 weeks, Robert Tiffin of NHL.com reports.

Back exited Wednesday's game against the Avalanche and was placed on injured reserve Friday. He's slated to miss at least a month after being diagnosed with a broken finger, and it's possible the Stars move him to long-term injured reserve at some point.

DiPietro is expected to start on the road against Anaheim on Friday, per Adam Pellerin of NESN.

DiPietro is gearing up for his second outing of the season after he stopped 26 of 29 shots in a 4-1 loss to Minnesota on Oct. 3. The 27-year-old netminder excelled in the AHL during the 2025-26 regular season, posting a 1.91 GAA and a .930 save percentage in 45 outings, but he's searching for his first win at the NHL level. It might be difficult to get that victory over Anaheim, which is off to a strong start with a 4-2-0 record and an average of 3.33 goals per game.

Head coach Joel Quenneville said Friday that Moore (lower body) is still "a ways from skating," Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports.

Moore has been on injured reserve since the start of the regular season due to a lower-body injury he sustained on the first day of training camp. While he was given a return timetable of 2-4 weeks in mid-September, he's slated to miss more time than that, and he seems to have several steps to clear before he's in the mix to return to game action.

Granlund (upper body) will be with the Ducks for their upcoming four-game road trip, Patrick Present of The Hockey News reports Friday.

While Granlund has already been ruled out versus the Bruins on Friday, the fact that he will be with the team is certainly good news. The 34-year-old center has registered at least a point in all six games to open the year, compiling two goals and six helpers along the way. With Granlund on the shelf, Roger McQueen figures to get some time in the NHL, though he could be returned to the minors when the veteran is cleared to play.

Namestnikov is week-to-week due to his undisclosed injury, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports Friday.

Namestnikov missed Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to Chicago due to the injury, which was his first absence of the 2026-27 campaign. He has an assist in six outings in 2026-27. Brad Lambert drew back into the lineup Thursday and is likely to play regularly during Namestnikov's absence.

Gauthier (upper body) will be in the lineup to face Boston on Friday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Gauthier will return to action after just one game on the shelf due to his upper-body problem. The 22-year-old winger is currently stuck in a three-game pointless streak, but he has registered eight shots on net over the stretch. In addition to taking back his top-six role, the Swede should also link up with the No. 1 power-play unit, where he has scored three of his four points this year.

Silovs will get the starting nod on the road versus Colorado on Friday, Josh Yohe of The Athletic reports.

Silovs will take the first game of the Penguins' back-to-back, while Sergei Murashov should be expected to get the road start against Vegas on Saturday. In four games this year, the 25-year-old Silovs is 3-1-0 with a 2.73 GAA, .885 save percentage and one shutout. At this point, head coach Dan Muse seems comfortable splitting the crease between his two backstops, which could lower Silovs fantasy value if he's only getting half the work.

Dostal will start Friday's home game against the Bruins, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal has had an inconsistent start to the 2026-27 campaign, going 3-2-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .891 save percentage. During his lone start against Boston last year, the 26-year-old turned aside 36 of 39 shots en route to a 4-3 regulation win at home.
