Norris scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Stars.
Norris extended his point streak to six games (three goals, four assists) to end the regular season. He wrapped up with 13 goals, 34 points, 69 shots on net, 28 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 44 appearances. Norris has played in every game since the Olympic break, and it's likely a positive sign that the oft-injured center didn't rest Wednesday when the Sabres had some regulars out of the lineup. He'll be a middle-six option to start the playoffs.

Sabres' Josh Norris: Pots goal Monday
Norris tallied a goal on two shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Norris found the back of the net late in the first period to level Monday's score at one apiece before the Sabres went off with four more goals. Overall, the 26-year-old center has 12 goals, 33 points, 67 shots on net, 24 hits and 24 blocked shots across 43 games this season. He's played a big role in helping Buffalo secure the Atlantic Division title during his five-game point streak. Norris has posted strong point-per-game numbers when healthy this season and could make an impact in the postseason from his middle-six role amidst Buffalo's stacked offense.

Head coach Lindy Ruff said Monday that Norris (ribs) will be available for Wednesday's game against New Jersey, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
Norris has been sidelined since mid-January due to his rib injury, but he's been cleared to suit up in the Sabres' first game following the Olympic break. Over 19 appearances with Buffalo this year, Norris has racked up six goals, 11 assists, 11 blocked shots and six hits while averaging 15:57 of ice time.
