Kaprizov scored two goals on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.

Kaprizov accounted for all of Minnesota's offense, scoring twice in the first period to erase separate one-goal deficits. The Russian winger finished with a plus-2 rating and has been particularly productive recently, collecting five goals and three assists during a four-game point streak. Kaprizov now has eight goals this season, leading the NHL in that category, and remains an elite fantasy option despite Minnesota's disappointing result.

Samuelsson pocketed two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

The 26-year-old had a hand in tallies by his blue line partner Owen Zellweger in the first and third periods. Samuelsson has taken on a larger workload while Rasmus Dahlin (upper body), Matt Grzelcyk (lower body) and others are sidelined, and he's responded with a goal and four points in seven games to begin the season.

Scheifele scored a goal on three shots and added two assists, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild.

Scheifele was instrumental in Winnipeg's offensive success, setting up Cole Perfetti's opening goal before scoring his first tally of the season later in the first period. He also assisted on Perfetti's power-play marker in the second, finishing with a plus-2 rating across 16:19 of ice time. Scheifele has continued to develop strong chemistry with Perfetti and Kyle Connor on the Jets' top line, and his prominent offensive role should keep him highly productive in fantasy formats.

Malenstyn picked up two assists while adding five hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

The points were the first of the season in seven games for Malenstyn, but he's made his presence felt on the fourth line with 30 hits. The 28-year-old isn't much of a scoring threat -- he scored a career-high seven goals over 81 regular-season games in 2025-26 -- but he's an effective grinder in a limited role.

Connor scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild.

Connor extended Winnipeg's lead to 4-2 early in the third period, beating Calvin Pickard with a wrist shot from the high slot after spinning away from Tyler Pitlick. The goal was his seventh of the season and extended his goal-scoring streak to three games. He also assisted on Mark Scheifele's first-period tally, finishing with a plus-2 rating across 17:26 of ice time. Connor is enjoying an excellent start to the season and has seven goals through six games. He also has four multi-point performances.

Luukkonen stopped 35 shots in regulation and overtime but zero of three shootout attempts in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Montreal.

The netminder did well just to earn a point in the standings for the Sabres, as the visitors were out-shot 38-17 in regulation and overtime, including a 5-0 advantage for the Canadiens in OT. Luukkonen's luck ran out in the shootout however, as Cole Caufield, Alexandre Texier and Zachary Bolduc all found the back of the net. Luukkonen is 2-2-1 through five appearances to begin the season with a 3.45 GAA and .850 save percentage, but he won't face much of a challenge for the top spot in the crease while Alex Lyon (upper body) remains on the shelf.

Perfetti scored two goals, including one on the power play, on four shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Wild.

Perfetti was one of Winnipeg's most productive offensive players, recording a pair of goals while finishing with a plus-1 rating. The winger logged 16:13 of ice time, including 2:31 on the power play, and his four shots tied for the team's lead, highlighting his involvement in the Jets' offensive attack. Perfetti's combination of scoring ability and power-play opportunities gives him considerable upside in most fantasy formats.

Zellweger scored two goals on four shots on net and added two PIM, one hit, one blocked shot and a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Canadiens.

The 23-year-old blueliner opened and closed the scoring in regulation, earning the Sabres a point in the standings with a seeing-eye shot through traffic early in the third period that tied the game at 3-3. Zellweger played a season-high 25:49, including 2:14 with the man advantage as part of the second power-play unit, due to injuries to Rasmus Dahlin (upper body), Matt Grzelcyk (lower body) and others, and the former Duck figures to continue getting an elevated workload and role until the Buffalo blue line gets healthier.

Severson picked up two assists in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Panthers.

Both helpers came in the third period after the Blue Jackets had fallen into a 6-1 hole. Severson has made an impact since missing the first two games of the season while he completed his recovery from offseason shoulder surgery, collecting a goal and four points in three contests to begin his campaign with six blocked shots, six PIM, four shots on net and a plus-3 rating.

Greaves turned aside all four shots he faced after replacing Cam Talbot early in the third period of Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Panthers.

The Blue Jackets' collapse was a total team effort, as Talbot had little chance on any of the pucks that got past him, but Greaves at least emerged unscathed. The 25-year-old is the clear No. 1 netminder for Columbus, and through four appearances to begin the season he's managed a 3.42 GAA and .874 save percentage while working behind a roster struggling to find itself defensively.
