2015 Wimbledon: Roger Federer dominates in straight set win
7-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer looked right at home on the grass in his first round match against Damir Dzumhur.
7-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer cruised past Damir Dzumhur in his opening round match with a straight set (6-1, 6-3, 6-3) victory. Federer, who has always been at his best on the grass courts at Wimbledon, looked terrific in his first match since losing in the French Open quarterfinals to eventual champion Stan Wawrinka.
Federer dominated with his first serve, as he always has on grass, winning 85% of his first serve points. He was aggressive coming forward to the net 28 times and winning 19 of those points, and he was tidy with his groundstrokes hitting 23 winners to just 10 unforced errors.
"I played as freely as I could and quite aggressively," Federer said in his post-match interview. "I'm happy to win like that."

Up next for Federer will be the winner of the match between Sam Querrey (USA) and Igor Sijsling (NED). With No. 31 Jack Sock losing in his first round match, Federer won't have to face a seeded opponent until at least the fourth round.
