Yankees pitcher Adam Warren picked up a win Wednesday after giving up one walk in 1 1/3 scoreless innings and striking out one in his team's 5-1 victory over the Tigers.

Warren (2-5) was able to retire the final batter in the top of the seventh before the Yankees took a lead in the bottom half of the inning. He then pitched a scoreless eighth and saw the offense extend the lead in the bottom of the eighth. Warren owns a 3.20 ERA and 52:20 K:BB ratio in 56 1/3 innings.
