Justin Verlander gives up four runs in spring outing

Tigers ace Justin Verlander allowed three home runs to the Astros Thursday while surrendering four earned runs in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out five batters and walked none. The outing gives Verlander a 4.74 spring ERA but is no cause for concern for fantasy owners. He allowed three home runs in a game just once in 2012, against the Rays in Tampa.
