On Saturday, LSU and Florida met in the SEC Tournament, with Florida holding on for the tight 2-1 win (box score). Florida freshman catcher Mike Rivera was the hero with a go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth.

Earlier in the game, LSU junior shortstop Alex Bregman made a spectacular behind the back transfer after ranging far to his left to field a ground ball. Check this play out:

Twist ending: The runner was safe! He beat out the throw. That's okay. It doesn't make the flawless behind the back move any less thrilling, especially since a) it seems like going behind the back was the only way to make that play close, and b) most shortstops couldn't even dream of getting to that ball in the first place.

Bregman, by the way, hit .330/.418/.573 with nine home runs, 47 RBI, 33 walks and 20 strikeouts in 57 games this year. He is a top 2015 draft prospect and a candidate go first overall.
