CHICAGO -- We're mere hours away from Game 4 of the NLCS between the Cubs and Mets in Wrigley Field. As is customary when your humble correspondent is on-site, let's pick a random seat of the day.

Our View of the Game comes from aisle 201, row 9, seat 101.

Here's the way the seat is facing, which is a nice view of the entire outfield.

I feel like the most fun aspect of this view is being able to judge whether or not fly balls to left field are going to leave the yard. It would be a great look at the trajectory.

Here's our view of home plate and the infield. You have to turn a bit to the side, but that's not a problem whatsoever (we'll get to that in a second).

Beautiful.

Another thing that's cool about this seat is a view of the street, in case a player really gets into one and leaves the park with it.

And finally, look at the loneliness of the seat!

Yes, there are no other seats surrounding this one. This isn't the only one-seat row in the park (there's a right-field counterpart, for example), but that doesn't make it less quirky. These are always real fun to me, just imagining watching a game in a packed house in a row of one's own.

Will we be back for Game 5? We'll find out soon enough. Enjoy Game 4.
