Ramon Ortiz does not have tear in elbow

An MRI on injured starter Ramon Ortiz, who was placed on the disabled list Tuesday, surprisingly did not reveal a tear, MLB.com reports. That is good news for the Blue Jays. 

Ortiz will be re-evaluated when the swelling subsides in his right elbow.
