Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello made his third spring start Wednesday against the Twins, allowing one run on three hits and two walks in four innings. He also had three strikeouts.
"Changeup was a lot better, that's one thing I was working on specifically," Porcello said. "A bit of a grind, good to work out of jam."
Porcello has a 2.70 ERA through three starts. He has eight strikeouts to three walks in 10 innings.
"Looking to be more efficient," Porcello said of his remaining spring starts. "The consistency is what I need to get better at. Keep taking steps forward."
