Reds make some cuts

Cincinnati made two cuts on Friday -- pitchers Scott Carroll and Chad Reineke. Both were reassigned to the minor-league camp. "Both of them had good springs," manager Dusty Baker told MLB.com. "I didn't know much about either of them, but they were very impressive this spring. They're guys, if something happens, that would be very much in the mix even though they're not on the roster. Their stuff is roster stuff."
