Tigers player gives fans middle finger after getting booed for OF miscue
Tyler Collins also clearly said "(eff) everybody here" as he made the motion. After the game he apologized and said he was embarrassed by his actions.

Tigers center fielder Tyler Collins made a bad situation worse on Monday night in Detroit. He lost a fly ball in the lights. That's tough luck more than anything. Of course, many fans in attendance have probably never experienced that before and booed Collins.
In return, Collins didn't likely endear himself to many Tigers fans by flipping off the collective audience and clearly saying "(eff) everybody here."

Honestly, it's hard to blame Collins for being angry with the boos, but this kind of over-the-top reaction is a pretty bad choice. Seeth internally and go break some stuff in the clubhouse when the inning is over or something.
Collins himself agrees with this assessment, as after the game he told reporters that he was embarrassed and he apologized to the fans.
“I’m absolutely embarrassed that happened and I’m very sorry to everybody in Detroit,” Collins said.

Overall, though, I'm just happy it wasn't a lightning rod personality like Yasiel Puig or Bryce Harper. We'd have to deal with a week of "downfall of society"/"role model" talk.
