Round and round, Mike Trout goes. Where he stops, no one knows. (Instagram)

Mike Trout wasn't good enough in 2015, so he already is getting after it for the 2016 season. In a New Year's video posted on his Instagram account, the AL MVP runner-up was giving himself quite a workout pushing a tractor tire with dumbbells tumbling inside of it. The tire weighs perhaps 650 pounds, and the dumbbells perhaps 200 pounds more combined.

Holy schnikes. There are lots of things to notice about the video, and not just the size of the tire (about five feet tall). Note the girth of Trout's calves, the tension in his forearms, Trout's trimmer tummy, the grimace on his face and, most of all, the sound of the dumbbells clanging together as they tumble round and round. Like an endless loop of bowling pins being knocked down, only louder and more shrill. Trout credits his personal trainer, Dan Richter, for his tractor-tire regimen.
