Generally speaking, when we see a huge bat flip, I mock those I like to refer to as the "Fun Police" and tell them they are really going to hate the following clip.

Of course, every once in a while I see something and I'm all, "whoa, that was almost too much."

This would be one of those latter occasions ...

To be clear, the flip itself wasn't so bad. The walking with the bat holding in the air seemed long.

No matter, though. I'll stick to my guns and say if the opposing team has an issue with it then they shouldn't be allowing homers and take note that I stress that sometimes I only say "almost" too much. This was an almost.

Further, my stance on the emotion of the moment carries the day here, because that was a three-run homer by Edgar Michelangi to put his team up 8-7 with one out in the ninth inning of an ACC tournament game.

The University of Miami baseball program is home to the famous Mark Light Shake and it looks like they are trying to get in on the fun as well:

I'm pretty sure Mr. Bryce Harper approves in his quest to Make Baseball Fun Again.

Rock on, Edgar. Anger those Fun Police!
