DETROIT -- As November nears, playing baseball in Detroit isn't too appealing. Cold temperatures are to be expected -- even though it was in the 70s here earlier in the week -- but the fear that the conditions may cause a delay is always there. For Game 3 of the 2012 World Series, however, it appears we're going to be just fine.
A cursory look at the hourly forecast on weather.com shows clear skies all night. Sure, it'll dip down to the low 40s, but that doesn't have any effect on whether or not the game gets played and it's not surprising in the least.
Game on.
