Indians pitcher Zach McAllister gave up five hits and a walk in 6 2/3 scoreless innings while striking out eight Monday, but he didn't factor into the decision in his team's 1-0 loss to the Twins.

McAllister did an excellent job in the outing but had to be removed with two outs in the seventh inning of a scoreless game after throwing 114 pitches. He owns a 3.18 ERA and 26:13 K:BB ratio in 39 2/3 innings. McAllister is on track to face the Rays on the road Saturday.
