Michael Baron@michaelgbaron3H agoIf you're an fWAR projection person, the #Mets would project at 47.8 fWAR w/ Kyle Tucker's projection for 2026. That would be the 2nd highest behind LA. That's with deficits in centerfield (26th) and the starting rotation (17th) and bullpen (13th). A lot of work to do here.

Michael Baron@michaelgbaron4H agoFolks - if the #Mets really want Kyle Tucker, and the Blue Jays have a better offer for him, they know that to get him, they have to be more competitive in some form or another. You may not like the direction of the winter, but they're not stupid, whether they get him or not.
