    The Giants traded Silva to the Tigers on Tuesday in exchange for Mark Canha, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports. Silva has spent the entirety of 2024 with Double-A Richmond, where he's logged a 4.35 ERA and 1.17 WHIP through 41.1 innings. He'll likely remain at the Double-A level upon joining the Tigers organization.
