When he did get to Pittsburgh, he introduced himself to Pirates fans with a couple of hits, a couple of RBI and a catch where he fell into the stands.

Alex Stumpf@AlexJStumpf23H agoJared Jones' day is done. 7 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 9 K, 0 BB. Started a little shaky but was outstanding from the third inning on, not allowing a base runner. He threw the curveball a ton (27 times) and it paid off handsomely. 7-2 Pirates. Jalen Beeks in to pitch.

Connor Joe nearly made an outstanding catch to win it, but he couldn't hang onto it as he hit the ground. Pirates are swept in the doubleheader and are 66-76. They'll go for a series split tomorrow
