Mann was traded from the Dodgers to the Royals on Aug. 1 along with Derlin Figueroa in exchange for Ryan Yarbrough.
Mann was the epitome of a spare part for the Dodgers, as he doesn't project to add much value with the glove or hit enough to get significant playing time on a first-division team. He has seen time at third base, first base, second base and left field while batting .304/.401/.535 with 15 home runs and 104 strikeouts in 407 plate appearances at Triple-A this season.

Dodgers' Devin Mann: Added to player pool
Rotowire
Mann has been added to the Dodgers' 60-man roster, Ted Schultz of The Republic reports.
Mann, a 2018 fifth-round draft pick by the Dodgers, was slated to open the season with Double-A Tulsa before the minor-league season was canceled. In 98 games with High-A Rancho Cucamonga last season, the 23-year-old slashed .278/.358/.496 with 19 home runs and 63 RBI. He's unlikely to see big-league playing time in 2020, but Mann's addition to the player pool will keep him from losing a full season of development.
