Mark Zuckerman@MarkZuckerman3D agoNationals have claimed RHP Ryan Loutos off waivers from Dodgers and optioned him to Triple-A Rochester. 26-year-old reliever has 5 MLB appearances with STL/LAD, good strikeout numbers in minors. His acquisition does leave the Nats' 40-man roster full, though.

Mark Zuckerman@MarkZuckerman5D agoNationals optioned Nasim Nuñez to Triple-Rochester after today's game. They'll have to call another position player up before Tuesday's opener in New York. Not sure if they'd have Brady House make his MLB debut on the road. If not, maybe Andres Chaparro?
