The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and have won nine of their last 10 games. Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have had trouble stringing together wins this season, but are coming off of a 14-point victory over the Washington Wizards. The Grizzlies look to kick the Kings while they're down when they meet on Friday night, after Sacramento has had numerous players enter into the league's health and safety protocols in recent days.

Memphis is favored by seven points in the latest Kings vs. Grizzlies odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the over-under is set at 221. Before entering any Grizzlies vs. Kings picks, you'll want to see the NBA predictions from the model at SportsLine.

What you need to know about the Kings

Before things started to get dicey for the Kings with a number of players entering into the NBA's health and safety protocols, they were able to pick up a win in their last game against Washington on Wednesday, 119-105. Sacramento's success was spearheaded by the efforts of point guard De'Aaron Fox, who had 28 points, and power forward Harrison Barnes, who had 19 points along with five boards.

Fox and center Alex Len were both made inactive on Friday, and join Louis King, Terence Davis and Marvin Bagley III in the protocols. When the two teams played each other earlier this season in Memphis, Fox scored 12 points on an inefficient shooting night, and Len only played six-and-a-half minutes in a 128-101 loss. Davis and King scored a combined 25 points, but none of those players will be available on Friday.

What you need to know about the Grizzlies

The Grizz just keep chugging away and beat the Portland Trail Blazers 113-103 on Wednesday. Small forward Desmond Bane was the offensive standout of the game for Memphis and shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc to finish with 23 points and six rebounds. With Ja Morant still out of commission, Bane has been the team's third-best scorer and averages 16.2 points per game, just behind Jaren Jackson Jr., who averages 16.4 to go with 5.3 rebounds per contest.

The Grizzlies' overall play this season has been extraordinary on both ends of the floor. Memphis averages the most steals (10.3) and blocks (6.0) per game in the league and has drained the fourth-most baskets from the field of any team in the NBA. Jackson leads the team in swats, with 1.9 per outing, and with Morant out, De'Anthony Melton leads the team in swipes, with 1.6 steals each time out.
