  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Breaks out

Hield accumulated 26 points (9-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and three steals over 39 minutes during Friday's 128-117 win over Brooklyn. Hield erupted from a 4-for-21 cold spell from beyond the arc Friday en route to leading Indiana in scoring. Hield had failed to shoot over 42.0 percent from the field in any of his last five contests, but Friday showcases his ability to heat up instantly.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Woes from field continue

Hield totaled nine points (3-13 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 22 minutes during Monday's 123-102 victory over the Magic. Hield has knocked down just 30.2 percent of his attempts from the field and 30.8 percent from deep over the last four games. His shooting from beyond the arc hit a new low in this one, with Hield managing just one make on double-digit attempts, marking the first time he hasn't made multiple shots from three-point range this season. He should remain a regular in the rotation but doesn't provide nearly as much fantasy value when he's not consistently knocking down shots.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Struggles in win

Hield tallied ten points (3-15 FG, 3-13 3PT, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 33 minutes in Friday's 99-91 victory over the Rockets. Hield could not get anything going in Friday's victory and his three-point percentage on the year has dipped slightly below 40 percent as a result. There is no reason to think it was anything other than an off night, and he'll look to get things back on track in Saturday's game against the Magic.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Goes for 19 points in win

Hield registered 19 points (5-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 125-113 victory over the Hornets. Hield scored just two points in the first quarter, both of which came at the free-throw line while also dishing out assists to Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner for easy buckets. The Pacers forward got it going in the third quarter, however, going 3-of-5 from the field and 2-of-2 from three for eight points while also recording a steal off a bad pass from Mason Plumlee. Hield shot a season-high six free throws on the night, making all of them, and he's now scored 19 or more points in five of his last six games.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Drops five triples in win

Hield closed with 22 points (8-15 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 28 minutes during Saturday's 118-104 win over the Raptors. Hield sealed the game with a flurry of points down the stretch, capping another strong performance. He currently sits inside the top 40 in standard leagues thanks largely to his prowess from deep and improved shooting efficiency. He has his at least five triples in six games this season and should continue firing away from deep on a nightly basis.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Stuffs stat sheet against Pelicans

Hield supplied 20 points (6-16 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 36 minutes during Monday's 129-122 win over the Pelicans. Hield didn't have his best shooting performance against the team in which he started his NBA career, but his final stat line was still decent -- he has now scored at least 20 points in each of his last three games and in five of his last six contests. During that six-game span, the veteran shooter is averaging 22.3 points per game while making 49.5 percent of his shots and 44.8 percent of his three-point attempts.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Leads squad in scoring

Hield provided 25 points (10-18 FG, 5-12 3Pt), nine rebounds and two steals across 40 minutes during Friday's 101-99 win over the Heat. Hield has now finished with 20-plus points in back-to-back games, drilling eight triples and collecting 12 rebounds over that brief stretch. The Oklahoma product has been locked in of late and is shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 46.3 percent from downtown over his last five matchups.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Reaches 20-point mark again

Hield chipped in 22 points (8-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Monday's 116-109 loss to the Nets. Hield has surpassed the 20-point plateau in three of his last four contests and is trending in the right direction following a relatively quiet start to the campaign. The sharpshooting wing has been dialed in from three-point range and has connected on 47.6 percent of his treys across that four-game span. He's averaging 17.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game while shooting 46.4 percent from the field and 42.7 percent from deep.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Flirts with triple-double in win

Hield amassed 17 points (6-14 FG, 5-11 3Pt), nine rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Saturday's 125-116 victory over Brooklyn. Hield was just a few rebounds and assists shy of a triple-double in the win. His performance may give him an even firmer grip on the starting gig, but Hield probably has an eye on Bennedict Mathurin. The rookie's excellent play is making a big statement, and Hield's role could be compromised if the team elects to give Mathurin more playing time.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Lands seven triples in loss

Hield finished Wednesday's 124-109 loss to the Bulls with 25 points (8-16 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes. Hield led the Pacers with 25 points, including a season-high seven triples, a sight that managers were thrilled to see. It's been a lackluster start to the season for Hield, which shouldn't have been off the radar given the direction of the team. With that said, he's locked in as a starter and should see upwards of 28 minutes on most nights, making him one of the more enticing perimeter scorers in fantasy.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Foul trouble limits minutes

Hield racked up 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 24 minutes during Friday's 137-134 loss to the Spurs. Hield saw 32 minutes in Wednesday's season opener but was limited to 24 minutes Friday while in foul trouble. At 29 years old, the sharpshooter doesn't fit Indiana's rebuilding timeline, but he appears firmly entrenched as a starter, even if he's on the trade block. If there's a reason for fantasy managers to worry about Hield's role while on the Pacers, it's due to how sharp rookie Bennedict Mathurin has looked to begin his career. Saturday's matchup against the Pistons gives Hield a bounceback opportunity against another inexperienced squad.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Records double-double

Hield amassed 16 points (6-16 FG, 4-11 3Pt), 10 rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 114-107 loss to the Wizards. Nearly all of Hield's scoring came in the first half on 5-of-9 shooting from the field, including 3-of-6 from three-point range. He also grabbed four rebounds in the first quarter to help the Wizards jump out to a 36-25 lead. The Pacers guard would go on to shoot just 1-of-7 in the second half, though he did collect another five rebounds - three offensive - along with three assists.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Shines on defense

Hield scored seven points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3 Pt) with five rebounds, two assists and three steals across 20 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Hornets. Hield scored five of his seven points in the first half on 3-of-8 shooting, but it was on the defensive end where he really made his presence felt. The Pacers guard collected three rebounds in the first quarter and grabbed three steals in the second, two of which came off of bad passes from LaMelo Ball. Hield would later be replaced by Bennedict Mathurin early in the third quarter and would not return as the Pacers continue to give extra rest to their starters before the regular season kicks off.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Leads team in loss

Hield put up 25 points (11-19 FG, 3-10 3PT), 11 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in a 131-122 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday. Hield's double-double was not enough as Indiana dropped its eighth straight game. The Oklahoma product is averaging 15.9 points while hitting 42.1 percent of his shots over his last 10 games. The veteran guard continues to see tons of minutes as Indiana deals with a slew of injuries to six players.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Unleashed in loss

Hield racked up 25 points (10-18 FG, 5-8 3Pt), three rebounds, seven assists, one block and four steals in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 110-109 loss to the Kings. Hield led Indiana in scoring and went toe-to-toe with former teammate Davion Mitchell (25 points) in a battle that came down to the final possession. Hield racked up seven-plus assists for the sixth time in a Pacers uniform -- a feat he accomplished zero times in 55 games for Sacramento this season. Being in Indiana has officially reinvented Hield.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Seismic downturn continues

Hield closed with nine points (2-9 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 20 minutes during Sunday's 129-98 win over the Trail Blazers. Hield had averaged close to 40 minutes per game over his first 13 contests with the Pacers, but he has now logged under 30 minutes in each of his last three contests. On Sunday, Hield failed to score in double digits for the first time as a Pacer, and he attempted only threes in a bland showing. The Pacers still secured an easy victory, but Hield will look to join the fun in a revenge game Wednesday against Sacramento.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Keeps scoring

Hield finished Sunday's 131-128 loss to Atlanta with 25 points (9-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal across 39 minutes. Hield co-led the Pacers in scoring. Despite a quiet night from beyond the arc, Hield has connected on multiple threes in four straight contests. He's logged a substantial 38.9 minutes per game across 13 contests -- -- a league-leading average over that span -- since joining the Pacers.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Still thriving in Indiana

Hield produced 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt), two rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 127-124 loss to the Cavaliers. Hield's responsibilities have increased dramatically since he joined the Pacers. Notably, he's racked up 49 points and 24 assists in the past three games. Fantasy managers that held onto Hield through the downtimes in Sacramento this season are being rewarded down the stretch.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Well-rounded effort again

Hield produced 19 points (8-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds and seven assists over 40 minutes during Sunday's 133-123 loss to the Wizards. Hield has now racked up 16 assists and 15 rebounds over his previous two games. Put alongside his volume scoring, Hield has been a nightly commodity. Continuing to see a ton of playing time, Hield has been rejuvenated as a multi-dimensional player and fantasy contributor with the Pacers.

  • Pacers' Buddy Hield: Dishes out season-high nine assists

Hield closed with 16 points (7-20 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's 111-106 loss to the Pistons. Hield struggled with his shot but salvaged his offensive efficiency by dishing out a season-high nine assists. The sixth-year wing has scored in double figures in all nine contests since joining the Pacers and has averaged 20.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 asssits across 39.2 minutes during that stretch. Hield figures to continue garnering a primary offensive role for Indiana down the stretch, which should bode well for his fantasy outlook.
