Brimah was waived by the Pacers on Tuesday, Tony East of the West Indianapolis Community News reports. Brimah was waived to create a roster spot for DeJon Jarreau to sign a two-way deal. It's possible the Pacers eventually re-sign Brimah on an Exhibit 10 deal.... See More ... See Less

Pacers' Amida Brimah: Inks two-way deal with Indiana
Brimah signed a two-way contract with the Pacers on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The 27-year-old will join the Pacers down the stretch after spending the G League season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Brimah provides depth at center with Myles Turner (toe) out indefinitely while Domantas Sabonis (back) and Goga Bitadze (ankle) also deal with injuries.... See More ... See Less -
Amida Brimah: Nears double-double against Charge
Brimah posted eight points (3-8 FG, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, five blocks and one steal over 28 minutes in Thursday's 99-94 loss to the Charge. Brimah was one of the top contributors on the boards once again Thursday, and he came within two points of recording a double-double in the narrow loss. However, he was productive on both sides of the ball against Canton and is now averaging 8.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks over 23.4 minutes per game this year.... See More ... See Less -
Amida Brimah: Hauls in 10 rebounds
Brimah compiled six points (2-5 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes in Thursday's 109-95 win over Long Island. Brimah has started each of the last four games for the Mad Ants, and he's been a key contributor on the boards. While his scoring output has usually been limited by a meager shot volume, he's averaging 8.4 points and 8.4 rebounds over 24.9 minutes per game across his first five G League appearances this year.... Amida Brimah: Posts double-double off bench
Brimah posted 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes in Thursday's 113-109 loss to Santa Cruz. Brimah made his season debut in the G League on Thursday, and he played a key role for the Mad Ants off the bench. He didn't appear in any games with the Pacers early in the season, but he'll attempt to carve out a role with Fort Wayne going forward.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Amida Brimah: Not on injury report
Brimah (not injury related) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Bulls. Brimah was away from the team to begin the season, but he should be available for Saturday's matchup. However, the center is unlikely to play a significant role for the Pacers this year.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Amida Brimah: Not with Pacers
Brimah (undisclosed) won't be available for Saturday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, as he is not with the team. The reason for Brimah's absence is unclear. His next chance to play is Monday against the Cavaliers.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Amida Brimah: Inks Exhibit 10 with Pacers
Brimah (knee) has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers, Tony East of the West Indianapolis Community News reports. Brimah has presumably healed from the torn ACL he suffered in October of 2019, and he'll look to make the Pacers' roster this season. He has yet to see NBA action, spending the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns in the G League with the Austin Spurs. In Brimah's G League career, he's averaging 7.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.0 assists in 23.0 minutes. It's extremely unlikely that Brimah will have fantasy relevance this season.... Amida Brimah: Suffers torn ACL
Brimah has suffered a torn right ACL, Scott Agness of The Athletic reports. The 25-year-old was in training camp with the Pacers before being waived in mid-October. He was expected to play for the G League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants this season.... See More ... See Less -
Amida Brimah: Waived by Indiana
Brimah was waived by the Pacers on Wednesday. Brimah was a long shot at making the final roster cut, so his waiving doesn't come as a surprise. Brimah will likely end up with Indiana's G League affiliate once the season begins. He averaged a solid 8.8 points and 8.0 rebounds last year with the Austin Spurs.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Amida Brimah: Latches on with Pacers
Brimah signed a one-year, partially guaranteed contract with the Pacers on Thursday, Scott Agness of The Athletic reports. Brimah spent most of the 2018-19 season in the G-League, appearing in 47 games for the Austin Spurs and posting averages of 8.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 1.4 assists in 23.3 minutes per game.... Amida Brimah: Plays 18 minutes in loss
Brimah played 18 minutes in Tuesday's loss to Agua Caliente, finishing the game with 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds and two assists. Brimah is averaging 23.6 minutes per contest, so it was actually a down night for the Austin big man, likely due to his five turnovers and three fouls. Through 37 games, the second-year G League player is averaging 8.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 2.4 turnovers per game.... See More ... See Less -
Amida Brimah: Posts double-double
Brimah finished Wednesday's win over the Swarm with 13 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and four blocked shots. Brimah actually finished with seven offensive rebounds, most of which he managed to convert into baskets. The center is averaging 8.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and three blocks through the first eight games of the G League season.... See More ... See Less -
Spurs' Amida Brimah: Let go by Spurs
Brimah was waived by the Spurs on Friday, Paul Garcia of TheSportsDaily.com reports. Brimah spent last season overseas, averaging 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for KK Partizan of the Serbian KLS league. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Spurs earlier in the week, but it appears the organization wants to get a look at different talent.... See More ... See Less -
Spurs' Amida Brimah: Headed to camp with Spurs
Brimah signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Spurs on Tuesday, Keith Smith of RealGM reports. After going undrafted out of Connecticut last season, Brimah spent the 2017-18 campaign with KK Partizan of the Serbian KLS league. He finished the year averaging 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 13 games. However, Brimah is looking to come back to the United States for the upcoming season and will join San Antonio for training camp. The Exhibit 10 contract means Brimah would be converted to a two-way deal if he's on the roster for the start of the regular season. Otherwise, he would also receive $50,000 if waived and then joins the team's G-League affiliate.... See More ... See Less -
Spurs' Amida Brimah: Perfect from the field in ugly loss
Brimah had eight points on 4-4 shooting, adding three rebounds and two blocks in 17 minutes during Friday's 90-55 summer league loss to the Suns. Brimah continues to shoot the ball well, albeit on very low volume. He saw his playing dip a little in this one, however, that was likely due to the nature of the scoreline and the opportunity to get the bench players some additional run. He has demonstrated a nice ability to rack up blocks in a short amount of time but is still far from a lock to even make their training camp.... See More ... See Less -
Spurs' Amida Brimah: Blocks six shots in overtime loss
Brimah had just four points on 2-of-2 shooting but added eight rebounds and six blocks in 23 minutes during Thursday's 83-75 summer league loss to Milwaukee. Brimah was quiet on the offensive end but was able to provide some elite rim protection in the overtime loss. He has seen his playing time increase over the week and while he is still a long way from getting a look into the main roster, his improved play has been a real positive for the Spurs organization.... Amida Brimah: Signs with Serbian club
Brimah agreed to a contract Wednesday with KK Partizan of the Basketball League of Serbia, Sportando reports. Brimah agreed to the deal with the Serbian club one day after capturing a G League title with the Austin Spurs. The 24-year-old center averaged 6.6 points and 7.4 rebounds in 22.6 minutes per game across 48 appearances in the G League during the 2017-18 campaign.... See More ... See Less
