  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Named to All-NBA First Team

Jokic was named to the All-NBA First Team.

This is unsurprising, as Jokic was named MVP earlier in June. Jokic played every game this season, and he averaged 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.3 steals. He also shot 56.6 percent from the field and 38.8 percent from deep. Jokic averaged similar numbers in the playoffs, but the Nuggets were swept by the Suns in the second round.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Ejected from Game 4 loss

Jokic put up 22 points (9-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds and four assists before being ejected from Sunday's Game 4 against the Suns.

The Nuggets were once again playing from behind for most of the game, and the MVP's frustrations appeared to boil over late in the third quarter when he was assessed a Flagrant-2 foul for forcefully striking Phoenix's Cameron Payne on a steal attempt. Jokic needed only 28 minutes to post his sixth double-double of the playoffs, but it was a rough way to end a fantastic season for the 26-year-old, who did not miss a single game and was the No. 1 fantasy player in most season-long formats. Entering Sunday, Jokic was averaging 29.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.9 made threes in 10 postseason contests.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Monster stat line in Game 3 loss

Jokic finished Friday's Game 3 loss to the Suns with 32 points (13-29 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-9 FT), 20 rebounds, 10 assists and a block.

Once again, the Nuggets were overwhelmed by Chris Paul (27 points), Devin Booker (28) and company, but Jokic was able to keep them within striking distance for most of the second half. The big man had an uncharacteristically poor night at the free throw line, but he more than made up for it with his most combined points, rebounds and assists (62) since a 47-point, 15-rebound, eight-assist effort against Memphis back on April 19.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Scores 24 with 13 boards

Jokic finished Wednesday's Game 2 loss to the Suns with 24 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes.

The Suns' defense swarmed Jokic virtually any time he touched the ball, but the newly minted MVP did what he could to lead the way for a Nuggets team that shot only 40.0 percent from the field. Through two games, Phoenix has done a good job of limiting Jokic as a scorer, though he's still been a productive fantasy option, totaling 22 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, three blocks and three three-pointers in 66 minutes.
