  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Productive off bench Monday

Carter ended Monday's 150-130 victory over the Pistons with 18 points (6-8 FG, 6-8 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals over 16 minutes off the bench. It was an impressive performance given how little court time he got, but neither team seemed interested in playing much defense. However, Carter had just three points in 30 minutes across the last three games, and while the journeyman guard has shown glimpses of fantasy utility at times this season, he's little more than a DFS dart throw now that the Bucks' roster is close to full strength.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Strong play off bench

Carter chipped in 18 points (6-16 FG, 6-14 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and three steals across 31 minutes during Thursday's 108-102 loss to Miami. Carter led Milwaukee's bench in scoring, and he did all of his scoring from beyond the arc. He certainly wasn't shy in this one, as he hoisted up a season-high 14 attempts from downtown. Carter has been inconsistent at best for Milwaukee of late, scoring in double figures in back-to-back contests but also being held to zero points in three of his last six appearances.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Back to bench

Carter will come off the bench Friday against Charlotte. Carter had started five straight games, but he'll return to the bench with Jrue Holiday back in the mix. As a reserve (eight games), Carter has averaged 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals in 19.9 minutes.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Rejoins starting five

Carter is in the starting five for Wednesday's game versus the Bulls. Carter will replace Jrue Holiday (hamstring) in the starting lineup Wednesday. Carter is averaging 8.6 points, 3.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 26.8 minutes across his 25 starts this season.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Coming off bench Sunday

Carter isn't starting Sunday's Christmas Day matchup against Boston. Carter started four of the last six games, but he'll come off the bench while Pat Connaughton draws his first start of the season Sunday. Over seven appearances off the bench this year, Carter has averaged 4.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 20.9 minutes per game.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Starting Friday

Carter will start Friday's game against the Nets. Carter will receive the starting nod with Khris Middleton (knee) out Friday. With the Bucks healthy outside of Middleton, Carter should hold a defensive-oriented role. He has failed to score double-digits in seven of his last 10 starts.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Moves to bench

Carter isn't starting Monday's game against the Pelicans. Carter will switch to a bench role after starting Milwaukee's last three matchups. MarJon Beauchamp will draw the start in Carter's place.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Adds little scoring production

Carter finished with four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 128-111 win over the Warriors. Carter received a spot start Tuesday due to the absence of Jrue Holiday (illness), but he failed to take advantage of the opportunity. He's been held to single digits in scoring in each of his last five matchups, and while he typically does contribute in nearly every category, it's not enough to garner looks in most fantasy leagues. Carter is averaging 4.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals in his last eight games.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Logs 28 minutes in loss

Carter posted nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 28 minutes during Sunday's 97-92 loss to the Rockets. Carter was far from productive Sunday but could be in line for a bump should Khris Middleton (ankle) be forced to miss time. After a nice stretch of games earlier in the season, Carter has fallen off the standard league radar of late. While he isn't a must-add player just yet, he is at least worth considering for anyone in need of assists and steals.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Back to bench

Carter will operate off the bench during Monday's matchup against the Magic. Carter's started all but one game this season, but he'll move back to the bench Monday, as Milwaukee will start Jrue Holiday, Jordan Nwora, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis. In Carter's only game as a reserve, he went scoreless across 20 minutes.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Rains in five threes

Carter logged 18 points (6-9 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Friday's 117-102 victory over the Cavaliers. Carter matched his season high with five made threes en route to a big night offensively for Milwaukee, with only Giannis Antetokounmpo (36 points) scoring more. Carter had combined for 14 points (6-16 FG) across three contests prior to Friday, showcasing his inconsistency.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Continues to produce

Carter provided 12 points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes during Monday's 121-106 loss to the Hawks. Carter still posted totals better than his season average in the contest, but he could not replicate the massive stat lines he generated in the previous two. Even so, Carter has established himself as a regular in the rotation and provides a nightly boost on the defensive end of the floor. That has extended to the offensive side of things of late, though that will likely change when more of the Bucks' regulars return. Khris Middleton (wrist) is yet to play this season but should debut soon, while Jrue Holiday has missed the last three games with an ankle injury.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Carries momentum from last game

Carter had 21 points (7-15 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 111-93 loss to the Spurs. Carter was coming off a career-best 36-point effort in a double-overtime win against the Thunder on Nov. 9, and while he couldn't repeat those figures in this one, he still provided a great performance. The uptick in his performance was related to the absences of Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Jrue Holiday(ankle). While Carter might be a good streaming option in the short term, he's not expected to produce like this regularly.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Career-best effort in 2OT win

Carter recorded 36 points (15-27 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 45 minutes during Wednesday's 136-132 double-overtime win over the Thunder. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee), Khris Middleton (wrist) and Jrue Holiday (ankle) all sidelined for the Bucks, Carter stepped up with the performance of his life, setting new career highs in points and assists. The 27-year-old guard hadn't scored more than 18 points in a game this season and was averaging only 5.3 points a night prior to Wednesday, but with Holiday likely out again Friday against the Spurs, Carter could continue carrying a much larger workload than usual.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Three blocks, two steals in loss

Carter notched two points (1-4 FG), three rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals across 26 minutes during Monday's 117-98 loss to the Hawks. While Milwaukee suffered its first loss of the season to the Trae Young-less Hawks, Carter turned in another stellar defensive performance. A newly minted starter this season -- at least while Khris Middleton (wrist) remains out -- Carter is averaging a career-high 24.2 minutes per game. He's not providing much in terms of points (5.3 PPG), rebounds (2.3 RPG) or assists (1.9 APG), though he's adding 1.7 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.2 threes per game, which gives him some appeal in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Quietly productive in win

Carter provided 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-11 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Friday's 119-108 victory over the Knicks. Carter chipped in across the board in the win, continuing what has been a surprising start to the season. Since being inserted into the starting lineup, Carter has been able to contribute at least one steal in each of the last four games. His other numbers are far from spectacular, but given his current role, he could have some limited value in deeper formats.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Starting Thursday

Carter will start Thursday's matchup against the 76ers, Austin Krell of USA Today reports. Carter received the starting nod for Thursday's regular-season opener with teammates Khris Middleton (wrist) and Pat Connaughton (calf) sidelined. Carter immediately becomes a value in DFS formats while maintaining streaming appeal for as long as he remains in the starting lineup.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Three-point barrage Thursday

Carter produced 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-6 3Pt) and three assists in 22 minutes in a 123-113 loss Thursday in a preseason game against Atlanta in Abu Dhabi. Carter had a great first half, scoring 14 points and going 4-for-4 from beyond the arc in 10 minutes of playing time. He was less productive in the second half and took only one shot in the fourth quarter despite playing eight minutes. The former West Virginia Mountaineer signed a two-year contract with the Bucks in the offseason after latching on with the team midseason last year. He's a career 38.3 percent shooter on threes and can provide solid defense in a backup role.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Will run it back in Milwaukee

Carter and the Bucks agreed to terms Thursday on a two-year contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The details of the deal are yet to be released, but it's likely for near the league minimum and may not be fully guaranteed. Either way, the contract offers Carter some security after he was waived by the Nets midway through last season before catching on with Milwaukee. Carter will continue to provide defensive-minded depth at point guard behind Jrue Holiday, but he's unlikely to make much of a fantasy impact.

  • Bucks' Jevon Carter: Swiper swipes

Carter closed with six points (3-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and five steals over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 116-100 victory over the Bulls. Milwaukee had 10 steals Wednesday -- with five coming from Carter and four coming from Wesley Matthews. Spearheading the defensive effort, Carter chipped in across the box score and finished with a strong plus-17 during his time on the floor. He's a key component of Milwaukee's bench unit.
