  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Increased role continues

Boucher recorded eight points (4-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and two blocks over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-92 win over Miami. Boucher played at least 22 minutes for the fourth consecutive game, a period in which he has been able to flirt with top-100 value. Jakob Poeltl was in early foul trouble, affording Boucher some extra run at the center position, something that managers shouldn't expect to see very often. While he can be used as a short-term option, Boucher should not be viewed as a must-roster asset, even in shallow leagues.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Thrives in blowout victory

Boucher racked up 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 118-97 win over the Pistons. Boucher played in excess of 25 minutes for the second straight game, taking advantage of the fact the game was a blowout. The Raptors were also without a couple of key pieces, affording Boucher an enlarged role. While he has been a disappointment for much of the season, Boucher is worth a look as long as the team is down on troops.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Meager output in win

Boucher finished Saturday's 122-107 victory over the Timberwolves with five points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals in 19 minutes. Boucher continues to see a decreased role after the addition of Jakob Poeltl and hasn't played more than 20 minutes since Feb. 25. Over his last 10 games, the undrafted product out of Oregon has averaged 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals-plus-blocks in 14.8 minutes.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Continues to garner modest role

Boucher amassed four points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and one steal across 15 minutes during Monday's 118-113 loss to the Nuggets. Since the acquisition of Jakob Poeltl at the trade deadline, Boucher's minutes and production have dropped slightly. Across his last 10 appearances, Boucher is averaging 8.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 18.4 minutes. While he's experienced a slight downturn in usage, Boucher's efficiency has risen, as he's posting 53/33/77 shooting spilts since Feb. 10.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Modest production in victory

Boucher had 13 points (6-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 123-113 win over the Magic. Boucher did just enough to remain relevant in the win, continuing what has been a productive stretch over the past two weeks. During that two-week stretch, Boucher has been a top 50 player on a per-game basis in nine-category leagues while averaging 12.2 points to go with 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. Looking ahead, Boucher should remain a regular part of the frontcourt rotation, though he could fade into a 15-minute role once both Gary Trent (calf) and OG Anunoby (wrist) are back in the mix.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Scores seven points against Jazz

Boucher logged seven points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes during Friday's 122-116 loss to the Jazz. Boucher had one of his best stretches of the season leading up to the deadline, but the Raptors did not do his fantasy value any favors by adding Jakob Poeltl to their frontcourt. Things are suddenly very crowded up front, so Boucher will need to find a way to get ahead of Precious Achiuwa if he wants to keep his fantasy status afloat.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Posts double-double off bench

Boucher totaled 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Sunday's 106-103 victory over Memphis. Boucher has been one of the main beneficiaries of OG Anunoby's absence due to a wrist injury, which has forced head coach Nick Nurse to expand his typically shallow rotation. Though Nurse used only eight players Sunday, Boucher looks to be in the circle of trust for the time being. Boucher has cleared 20 minutes in four straight games and is averaging 12.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 treys and 1.0 blocks while shooting 60.6 percent from the field.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Blocks three shots in victory

Boucher chipped in 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 23 minutes during Friday's 117-111 victory over Houston. Boucher blocked multiple shots for just the third time in his past 15 games, contributing on both ends of the floor. He has now played at least 20 minutes in three straight games, once again putting himself back in the 12-team discussion in fantasy. He certainly isn't a must-roster player by any means, although he is worth a look if you think he can stick in a similar role moving forward.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Steps in as top big man off bench

Boucher finished Monday's 114-106 loss to the Suns with five points (1-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one block and one assist in 24 minutes. With Precious Achiuwa having recently moved into the starting five as a replacement for the injured OG Anunoby (wrist), Boucher has settled back in as Toronto's first big man off the bench. While Anunoby was sidelined for three of the past six contests and averaged just 20.7 minutes in the three games he did play, Boucher has earned between 17 and 24 minutes off the bench in each of those six outings. During that stretch, Boucher is averaging 9.7 points, 7.2 boards, 1.0 three-pointers, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals, numbers that put him on the radar as a potential pickup in 12- and 14-team leagues. Anunoby is out for at least the next three games, so Boucher will at least have value over the next week and should remain a solid option until Anunoby returns to full strength.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Scores 16 off bench

Boucher chipped in 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 113-95 victory over the Kings. Boucher's performance against the Kings was just the ninth time he's scored at least 15 points over his 43 appearances this year, and he's also shot 64.7 percent from the floor over his last two appearances. The 30-year-old also contributed on the defensive side of the ball Wednesday with three blocks, matching his season-high mark. He's scored in double figures in just four of 12 appearances this month and has averaged 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game during that time.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Back in double figures

Boucher contributed 14 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds and three steals over 23 minutes during Sunday's 125-116 victory over the Knicks. Boucher scored in double digits for the first time since Jan. 14, and he did so by knocking down 66.7 percent of his attempts from the field. He also added five points on six shots from the charity stripe. Boucher is averaging 6.8 points and 4.0 rebounds through 11 appearances in January.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Offers impact off bench

Boucher finished with 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds and two steals in 18 minutes during Saturday's 114-103 loss to the Hawks. Boucher's playing time remains highly volatile from game to game, but he's at least regained a foothold in the rotation under head coach Nick Nurse after he appeared to be on his way out of the Raptors' second unit in late December. The 30-year-old is typically a strong statistical performer on a per-minute basis, and even if upside isn't especially high while Toronto has all its key frontcourt pieces available, Boucher could still make for a strong short-term streaming option with the Raptors set to begin a five-game week Monday in New York against the Knicks.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Productive in limited minutes

Boucher provided 12 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 15 minutes during Tuesday's 132-120 win over the Hornets. It was the first time in six games Boucher scored in double digits. However, the 30-year-old forward continues to see an erratic role in the frontcourt rotation, with his minutes ranging from four to 22 since Christmas, and he's tough to trust even as a DFS bargain option.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Minimal production against New York

Boucher recorded two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and three rebounds in 13 minutes during Wednesday's 113-106 win over the Knicks. Boucher posted double-doubles off the bench in his last two appearances, but he was held in check while playing just 13 minutes during Wednesday's victory. While it was encouraging to see the 29-year-old's upside recently, his performance against the Knicks was a reminder that he's still a somewhat inconsistent fantasy option.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Double-double off bench Monday

Boucher posted 13 points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 30 minutes off the bench during Monday's 104-101 overtime loss to Philadelphia. It's the second straight double-double and sixth of the season for the streaky forward, who continues to see a bigger role in the absence of Precious Achiuwa (ankle). Boucher has scored in double digits in five of the last seven games, averaging 10.4 points, 6.6 boards, 0.7 threes, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 23.3 minutes a night over that stretch.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Double-doubles off bench

Boucher closed with 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and 14 rebounds across 25 minutes during Sunday's 126-110 loss to Golden State. Boucher needed only 25 minutes to record a double-double, and he once again outplayed the starting center, Christian Koloko, despite coming off the bench. Boucher fits better as one of the go-to players in the second unit and is not expected to crack the starting five any time soon, but that doesn't mean he's not an asset in fantasy. He's averaging 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.8 blocks across 20.7 minutes per game in December.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Blocks two shots in loss Friday

Boucher finished Friday's 113-109 loss to the Magic with 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and two blocks over 22 minutes. Boucher blocked two shots in the loss but once again failed to deliver when it comes to all-around value. After a short period when he became a must-add player, his role has reverted to what we saw earlier in the season. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly repertoire, Boucher should be viewed as just a streamer, at least while the team is fully healthy.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Downward trend continues in win

Boucher registered six points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 18 minutes during Saturday's 121-108 victory over the Magic. Boucher logged just 18 minutes in the win, continuing his downward trend in playing time. After a few games in which he was able to crash the 12-team fantasy scene, he has seen his role revert back to what we saw to open the season. While we know what he can do when afforded additional playing time, he is a tough player to hold right now. Keep an eye on the injury situation moving forward and should an opportunity arise once again, Boucher would be worth swooping up.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Posts third straight double-double

Boucher ended with 22 points (10-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 13 rebounds and one steal in 36 minutes during Saturday's 105-100 victory over the Mavericks. Boucher reached the 20-point mark for just the third time this season Saturday, connecting on a season-high 10-of-19 field goal attempts as Toronto kept Dallas at bay down the stretch. Ten of Boucher's 22 points came in the first quarter on 5-of-8 shooting from the field, as did six of his game-high 13 rebounds. The Raptors forward played a huge role off the bench and has now recorded a double-double in three straight contests.

  • Raptors' Chris Boucher: Active off bench Wednesday

Boucher chipped in 12 points (2-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 16 rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 112-98 loss to Brooklyn. Boucher was a monster on the glass and while he posted another double-double, his second in a row and third over his last five appearances, he had an awful showing in terms of shooting since he needed 15 shots and eight trips to the charity stripe to score only 12 points. Regardless of the lack of efficiency, Boucher is leaving his slow start to the season in the rearview mirror and has averaged 17.2 points with 9.8 rebounds off the bench across his last five outings.
