  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Love some Keke

Okeke posted 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-11 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 34 minutes during Thursday's 128-101 loss to Charlotte. Okeke assembled an impressive and versatile performance. Shooting just 31.5 percent from beyond the arc this season, his 38.9 percent average from his career at Auburn hasn't yet translated to NBA efficiency. However, Okeke has merit as a rebounder and defender in addition to his potential three-point prowess. The 23-year-old remains under team control until 2024.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Approaches double-double

Okeke put up 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-7 3PT, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in Tuesday's 120-115 win over Cleveland. Okeke was one rebound shy of notching his fourth double-double of the season. While he was able to rack up rebounds, the Auburn product's numbers in that category have been less than stellar. The second-year forward has had 9-plus rebounds in just three of his last 18 contests.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Returns to starting five

Okeke is starting Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Okeke will start for the third time in the last four games with Wendell Carter (wrist) unavailable. Across his last three appearances, Okeke has averaged 10.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in 31.3 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Will come off bench Monday

Okeke will come off the bench during Monday's contest against the Cavaliers. With Wendell Carter (wrist) returning from a two-game absence, Okeke will revert to his usual bench role. As a reserve this season, the third-year big man has averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 23.0 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Starting again Saturday

Okeke is starting Saturday's game against the Kings. Okeke will join the starting lineup for a second straight game since Wendell Carter (wrist) remains out. Okeke totaled 19 points, five rebounds and a block in 35 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Thunder.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Leads Magic with 19 points

Okeke added 19 points (6-16 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one block during Wednesday's 118-102 loss to the Thunder. Okeke logged his first start since March 5 against Memphis and rewarded coach Jamahl Mosley by posting a team best offensively. It was also the Auburn product's first outing scoring in double figures since March 13. Okeke has tallied at least eight points in five straight performances.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Starting at OKC

Okeke will start Wednesday's matchup against the Thunder. With Wendell Carter (ankle, wrist) sidelined, Okeke will get the nod next to Mo Bamba in the frontcourt. In his past five starts, he's averaged 6.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 steals and 1.8 assists in 28.0 minutes.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Hauls in 11 rebounds off bench

Okeke logged eight points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 31 minutes during Sunday's 90-85 victory over the Thunder. Okeke returned to the court Sunday following a one-game absence due to a left knee contusion. He came off the bench once again but topped 30 minutes of playing time and matched his highest rebound total of the season during the narrow win. The 23-year-old has played at least 20 minutes in five of his six appearances since reclaiming a bench role, and he's averaged 8.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game during that time.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Not listed on injury report

Okeke (knee) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Thunder. Okeke was unavailable Thursday against Detroit due to a left knee contusion, but he should be back in action following a one-game absence. Wendell Carter is also absent from the injury report, so Okeke should see close to his normal amount of minutes Sunday.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Questionable Thursday

Okeke is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to a left knee contusion. Okeke played 30 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Nets, but he's now dealing with a knee injury ahead of Thursday's matchup. If he's forced to miss his first game since Jan. 3, Moritz Wagner and Robin Lopez should see additional run.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Strong effort off bench

Okeke closed with 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 116-114 overtime loss to Philadelphia. Okeke scored in double digits off the bench for the first time since Feb. 25, when he registered 26 points in a win over the Rockets. However, he has surpassed the 10-point mark just twice over his last 10 games, and as a bench player who has up-and-down minutes, he's not likely to make a big fantasy impact going forward.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Non-factor in loss

Okeke posted six points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 102-99 loss to the Suns. With Wendell Carter sidelined due to an illness, Okeke registered two straight starts, but he returned to the bench Tuesday and failed to make an impression in the box score despite playing 26 minutes. Across his last five appearances, the third-year big man has averaged 6.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 26.6 minutes per game.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Posts double-double in start

Okeke racked up 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 103-97 victory over the Raptors. Okeke made his first start since Jan. 17 since Wendell Carter (illness) was sidelined, and he stepped up with a double-double while posting the second-highest rebound total on the team. Carter has already been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies due to his non-COVID illness, so Okeke should continue to see additional opportunities.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Massive stat line Friday

Okeke provided 26 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block across 32 minutes during Friday's 119-111 victory over the Rockets. Okeke came off the bench once again as the Magic resumed play Friday, but he shot 69.2 percent from the floor to post his highest scoring total of the season. He was productive in several areas and came within one rebound of a double-double in the victory. In spite of his bench role, Okeke has played at least 25 minutes in six of his last seven appearances, averaging 12.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.0 three-pointers, 2.3 steals, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over that stretch. He looks like a must-roster player in 12-team leagues for the time being.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Nails four three-pointers in loss

Okeke registered 15 points (4-12 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds and two assists across 26 minutes during Saturday's 132-105 loss to the Suns. Okeke's poor field-goal percentage in the game was largely a result of the fact that all but two of his shots came from three-point range. The second-year forward has made multiple triples in four straight games, tying his longest such streak this season. Okeke also tied a season high with 10 boards to finish with his second double-double of the campaign.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Leads big bench effort

Okeke finished with 18 points (7-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist across 29 minutes in Tuesday's 113-95 win over the Trail Blazers. Okeke, Gary Harris and Robin Lopez provided the Magic with a major lift off the bench in the blowout win, with the trio combining for 41 points while each hit more than half of his shot attempts. Though the scoring outburst was a welcome sight from Okeke, most of the 23-year-old forward's fantasy value typically derives from his defensive production. Before coming up empty in both columns Tuesday, Okeke had averaged 1.7 steals and 0.9 blocks over his prior 15 appearances.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Five defensive stats Sunday

Okeke closed with eight points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist, two blocks and three steals over 25 minutes during Sunday's 116-83 loss to the Celtics. Okeke did his thing on the defensive end of the floor, racking up a combined five steals and blocks. His scoring remains wildly inconsistent, as does his playing time. With the Magic possibly looking to ship out a couple of players at the deadline, Okeke is a player worth tucking away to see if he can ramp things up down the stretch, much like he did last season.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Great defense continues

Okeke ended Tuesday's 126-115 loss to the Bulls with five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 23 minutes. While Okeke's scoring has fluctuated throughout the season, it appears he's turned a corner as a defender. Tuesday's performance marked his 12th straight game with at least one steal or one block. Over the past five games alone, he's totaled nine steals and eight blocks.

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Booms in win

Okeke contributed 19 points (7-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Sunday's 110-108 victory over the Mavericks. Okeke led Orlando in scoring, three-point baskets and steals in an upset victory. He's in the midst of a strong six-game stretch, averaging 13.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 triples and 1.5 steals per game. His offensive production has come on the back of 56.9 percent shooting from the field and 47.4 percent shooting from distance, with both marks well above his season-long marks (38.4 percent and 29.5 percent, respectively).

  • Magic's Chuma Okeke: Scores 18 off bench Wednesday

Okeke scored 18 points (6-7 FG, 6-7 3Pt) while adding three rebounds, an assist and a block in 21 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 123-110 loss to the 76ers. After five games in the starting lineup, Okeke moved back to the bench to make way for Jalen Suggs and responded by scoring more points than he had in any of those starts. Okeke continues to show flashes of his upside, and the six made threes were a career high for the 23-year-old wing, but his current role and the struggles of the roster around him limit his fantasy value to primarily dynasty formats.
