  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Inefficient double-double in playoffs

Bonga tallied 12 points (4-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 143-139 loss to the Delaware Blue Coats in the Eastern Conference Final. Bonga led his team in rebounds against Delaware on Sunday, but he had one of his worst shooting days of the season in the Conference Final. He averaged 13.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals and one block per game for 905 this season, which is an improvement over his last G League campaign with the South Bay Lakers in 2018-19.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Scores seven in return from injury

Bonga (toe) managed seven points (1-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 25 minutes in Thursday's 131-126 victory over the Capital City Go-Go in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Bonga didn't have a good shooting day Thursday -- except he was pretty decent from the free-throw line -- but he rebounded and defended solidly in his side's playoff win over the Go-Go, his first game back after missing some time with a toe injury. On Sunday he will face either Delaware or Motor City in the Conference Final.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Out with toe injury

Bonga was inactive for Saturday's victory over the Greensboro Swarm due to a toe injury. Bonga will have a few days to recover after missing the regular season finale on Saturday, as 905 won't enter the playoffs until the Conference Semifinals on Thursday. Bonga is a key piece for his G League team, averaging 13.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks per game this season.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Another double-double in G League

Bonga posted 22 points (9-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block across 30 minutes in Tuesday's 111-103 victory over the Grand Rapids Gold. Bonga was an efficient scorer, an effective rebounder and a defensive leader against Grand Rapids on Tuesday, and the only blemish on his performance was his struggle from deep. He's making just 28.4 percent of his 4.1 three-pointers per game this season, but he's averaging nearly a double-double per game for 905.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Double-double against Wisconsin

Bonga logged 17 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 130-115 victory over the Wisconsin Herd. Bonga had some solid shooting and led his team in rebounds against the Herd on Wednesday, but he will need to cut down on his five turnovers in the game. He's averaging 2.2 turnovers per game this season, compared to his 1.1 steals, 3.9 assists and 9.6 rebounds.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Near triple-double in win

Bonga managed 10 points (5-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals across 36 minutes in Thursday's 131-106 victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Bonga almost had a triple-double Thursday, and he led his team in steals against the Mad Ants. However, he was poor from three-point range, which fits his season profile as he's making just 29.6 percent of his 4.1 shots from deep per game for 905.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Returns to G League

Toronto assigned Bonga to the G League's Raptors 905 on Thursday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Bonga is expected to play for the 905 in games Thursday against the College Park Skyhawks and Saturday against the Lakeland Magic before rejoining the NBA team for its road trip out West. The 22-year-old has played in only four of the Raptors' 33 games since the calendar flipped to 2022, logging 10 minutes in total.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Back with NBA team

Toronto recalled Bonga from the G League's Raptors 905 on Wednesday, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports. Bonga hasn't seen action with the NBA team since Jan. 25. Even with OG Anunoby (finger) already ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pistons and Fred VanVleet (knee) and Thaddeus Young (illness) uncertain to play, Bonga isn't a good bet to see the court if the contest is reasonably competitive.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Good rebounding against Maine

Bonga tallied nine points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes in Tuesday's 128-92 victory over the Maine Celtics. Bonga almost had a double-double Tuesday as he led his side in rebounds, but he needs to cut down on turnovers as he had five against the Celtics. He's almost averaging a double-double this season with 13.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Deadly from deep in G League win

Bonga put up 26 points (9-14 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Friday's 130-115 victory over the Greensboro Swarm. Bonga shot 75 percent from three-point range Friday and led his team in rebounds against Greensboro. He's making 32.3 percent of his 4.3 three-pointers per game this season, so his performance against the Swarm was a very impressive showing.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Double-double in tight win

Bonga tallied 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 16 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 100-98 victory against the Greensboro Swarm. Bonga was a monster on the glass Wednesday -- grabbing eight offensive rebounds in addition to his eight defensive rebounds -- and his double double was vital in his side's narrow win over the Swarm. He's averaging 9.9 rebounds per game for 905 during the regular season.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Logs team-best 20 rebounds

Bonga logged 11 points (4-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 20 rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block across 30 minutes during Saturday's 109-104 win over the Delaware Blue Coats. Bonga's rebound tally is compensating for an inefficient scoring output. Despite logging a 29.6 field goal percentage across his last two games, he also averaged 13.5 rebounds during that two-game span.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: All-around stat line during return

Bonga logged 13 points (4-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight assists, seven rebounds and one steal across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 110-99 win over the Cleveland Charge. Raptors 905 should expect Bonga to remain its most versatile player available. Despite being an undersized center, he could log high tallies in statistical categories other than points. Bonga demonstrated one example of such Tuesday.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Back to G League

Bonga was assigned to the G League's Raptors 905 on Sunday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Bonga didn't appear in any games during his recent stint in the NBA. However, he's expected to get extended run during his time in the G League.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Rejoins NBA club

Bonga was recalled from the G League by the Raptors on Friday, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports. Bonga has been with the Raptors 905 in the G League but will rejoin the NBA club ahead of Friday's matchup with the Hawks. He's averaged 5.1 minutes in 13 NBA appearances this season and is unlikely to see any action versus Atlanta since Toronto is currently at full strength.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Logs all-around stat line

Bonga logged 15 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal across 34 minutes during Thursday's 104-89 win over the Windy City Bulls. Bonga continues to be a versatile option for Raptors 905. He averaged 14.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across his last 14 G League games. Bonga will continue receiving chances to average those tallies if the Raptors 905 team keeps playing without starting a traditional center.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Leads scoring in G League win

Bonga posted 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists and a steal across 36 minutes of Wednesday's 123-116 victory over the Motor City Cruise. Bonga played well against Motor City on Wednesday, but he also had four turnovers and made just a quarter of his three-pointers. He's shooting a shade under 50 percent from the field overall with 905 this season and averaging 17.4 points per game, but he will need to clean up that sloppiness.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Back with Toronto

Toronto recalled Bonga from the G League's Raptors 905 on Sunday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Bonga recently returned from a roughly week-long absence due to an ankle injury to play 23 minutes for the 905 in Saturday's win over the Cleveland Charge. Though he's seemingly healthy again and rejoining the NBA team ahead of Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Bonga is unlikely to capture a rotation spot with the Raptors. He's played in just 12 NBA games all season, averaging 5.3 minutes per appearance.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Returns from injury

Bonga (ankle) managed eight points (3-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 23 minutes in Saturday's 119-102 victory over the Cleveland Charge. Bonga was solid in his return from an ankle injury Saturday, though he struggled from three-point range. He's averaging 17 points and 9.3 points per game in the G League this season, and will likely be back to posting those types of numbers when he's fully healthy again.

  • Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Not available for G League team

Bonga (ankle) won't be available Sunday for the G League Raptors' 905's game against the Lakeland Magic, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports. Bonga has yet to play for the 905 or for the NBA team since injuring his ankle Thursday in the G League club's game against the Capital City Go-Go. The 22-year-old forward isn't on a two-way deal, but he's expected to see extensive action in the G League this season nonetheless since Toronto doesn't have a spot available for him in its rotation.
