  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Exits with back spasms Sunday

Bailey exited Sunday's Las Vegas Summer League loss to the Clippers with back spasms and did not return, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. Bailey only managed to make it through eight minutes before aggravating his back, and it's already been announced he will miss Monday's meeting with the Bulls. The Jazz will likely be extra cautious with Bailey's back issue during these exhibition games, so for now, he should be considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Available Sunday

Bailey (back) is available for Sunday's Summer League game against the Clippers, Chandler Holt of KSL Sports reports. Bailey is available to return from a three-game absence due to back spasms. The 19-year-old wing has played in just one game this summer, posting 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes during the July 4 overtime win over Atlanta.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Doesn't play Thursday

Bailey (back) didn't play in Thursday's 92-88 Summer League loss to the Wizards. Bailey missed Utah's last two Salt Lake City Summer League games due to back spasms, and he didn't suit up for the club's Las Vegas Summer League opener. His next opportunity to play will come Sunday against the Clippers.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Won't play Monday

Bailey (back) won't play in Monday's Salt Lake City Summer League game against the Grizzlies, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. Bailey is dealing with back spasms and won't play in the front end of this back-to-back set. His next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against the Thunder.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Dip in usage coming?

Bailey will enter his second NBA season playing alongside franchise guard Darryn Peterson, who Utah took with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. The pairing gives the Jazz a dynamic young offensive core, with Peterson's playmaking potentially creating easier scoring opportunities for Bailey and Keyonte George. While usage distribution remains uncertain, Bailey still projects as one of Utah's foundational building blocks. After the All-Star break, Bailey averaged 18.3 points, 4.9 boards and 2.0 dimes in 23 regular-season games.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Ruled out Tuesday

Bailey (knee) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against New Orleans. Bailey was previously listed as doubtful, so this latest update isn't much of a surprise. His next opportunity to suit up will be Friday versus the Grizzlies. In the meantime, Cody Williams, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski are expected to do most of the heavy lifting on offense.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Unlikely to play Tuesday

Bailey (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Pelicans. Bailey is now unlikely to play Tuesday after initially being listed as questionable. The rookie has appeared in 11 straight games, averaging 20.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 blocks in 31.9 minutes per tilt over that span. With Utah's injury list a mile long, John Konchar, Bez Mbeng and Svi Mykhailiuk are candidates for increased roles.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Questionable for Tuesday

Bailey (knee) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against New Orleans. Utah's injury report continues to grow, with Bailey now making an appearance because of a bruised right knee. If he can't suit up, John Konchar could work his way back into the starting lineup.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Scores 22 vs. Houston

Bailey recorded 22 points (9-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block across 33 minutes during Friday's 140-106 loss to Houston. Bailey reached the 20-point mark for the first time since scoring 37 in a loss to the Raptors on March 23. Even though his scoring numbers had been trending a bit downward of late, the rookie out of Rutgers has improved massively compared to his first month in the league, and he's ending the season on a strong note. If you drafted Bailey and trusted him throughout the entire season, you're clearly reaping the benefits of being a patient manager when it matters the most. Bailey has scored at least 15 points in eight of his last 10 appearances.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Scores 25 but struggles with shot

Bailey ended Saturday's 126-116 loss to Philadelphia with 25 points (7-20 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and five blocks over 33 minutes. Bailey was coming off posting a career-high 33 points in the win over the Bucks on Thursday, and while he fell short of reaching that mark in this loss, it was the first time in his career that he recorded at least 25 points in back-to-back contests. Bailey endured a slow start to his NBA career but has progressed steadily as the season has advanced. All signs point to him ending the season -- and therefore, the fantasy playoffs -- on a strong note as the Jazz's primary go-to option on offense. Bailey has scored at least 20 points six times since the All-Star break (13 games), compared to only seven during the rest of the season (49 contests).

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Drops 17 points in return

Bailey (concussion) provided 17 points (6-13 FG, 5-10 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 147-111 loss to Minnesota. Bailey missed the Jazz's previous game Sunday after entering concussion protocol, but he was cleared ahead of Wednesday's contest and moved right back into the starting five. After averaging 31.1 minutes per game over his first nine appearances out of the All-Star break, Bailey handled a slightly reduced workload Wednesday, but that may have been a byproduct of the Jazz looking to ease him back into action. Expect Bailey to eventually reclaim a 30-plus-minute role once he's further removed from the head injury.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Good to go Wednesday

Bailey (concussion) is available for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Bailey has been cleared to return versus Minnesota after missing Sunday's loss to Sacramento while in the league's concussion protocol. With the rookie first-rounder returning to action, fewer minutes will be available for the likes of Andersson Garcia and Elijah Harkless. Bailey has averaged 16.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.7 minutes per game over 10 appearances since the All-Star break.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Not playing Sunday

Bailey (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kings. Bailey entered the league's concussion protocol after taking a hit to the head during Friday's game against the Trail Blazers. The rookie first-rounder will have extra time to recover as the Jazz's next game after Sunday won't take place until Wednesday against the Timberwolves. Blake Hinson and Andersson Garcia are slated for larger roles in Bailey's absence.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Leaves early Friday with concussion

Bailey won't return to Friday's game against Portland due to concussion symptoms. He finished with eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block across seven minutes. The Jazz haven't confirmed that Bailey sustained a concussion, but his symptoms of the brain injury will be enough to keep him sidelined for the remainder of the contest. The rookie first-round pick will likely enter the NBA's concussion protocol, making it uncertain that he'll be cleared in advance of the Jazz's next game Sunday against the Kings. If Bailey ends up sitting out Sunday, the Jazz could make two-way player Blake Hinson active for that contest after he didn't dress for Friday's game.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Puts up 21 points in loss

Bailey provided 21 points (8-16 FG, 5-10 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 134-117 loss to the Knicks. The rookie took a while to get going, but he's been putting up excellent numbers in recent weeks for a shorthanded Utah squad. This game marked Bailey's return from a one-game absence, and he's scored in double digits in six of his last seven outings while reaching the 20-point plateau thrice in that span. The Rutgers product is now averaging 16.9 points per contest since the All-Star break.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Out Monday

Bailey (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Warriors, Ben Anderson of KSL News Salt Lake City reports. Bailey was a late addition to the injury report and will miss Monday's contest due to an illness. His next opportunity to play will come Wednesday against the Knicks. With the rookie first-rounder unavailable, John Konchar and Brice Sensabaugh are candidates for increased playing time.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Added to injury report

Bailey (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Warriors. That's now three late additions to the Utah injury report due to an illness Monday, so it's possible an ailment is spreading around the team. John Konchar and Brice Sensabaugh would both be more involved on the wing for the Jazz if Bailey is unable to suit up.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Logs 18 points in defeat

Bailey ended Monday's 128-125 loss to Denver with 18 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 32 minutes. Bailey has logged single-digit totals only once over the past month, and he's been a consistent contributor in the rebound category as well. Over the past 11 games, he's averaged 15.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals. He is a lock to start nightly barring an injury.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Paces team with 23 points

Bailey ended Thursday's 129-118 loss to New Orleans with 23 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 29 minutes. Bailey stepped up amid Lauri Markkanen's (hip) absence and provided the team's highest point total. Although he failed to make an impact against Houston earlier in the week, he hit for 20 points against Memphis following the All-Star break. The low total against the Rockets snapped a seven-game streak of double-digit scoring results, but he seems to be back on track.

  • Jazz's Ace Bailey: Scores 20 points on 19 shots

Bailey recorded 20 points (8-19 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block over 33 minutes during Friday's 123-114 loss to the Grizzlies. Bailey got all the shots he wanted with both Lauri Markkanen (illness) and Keyonte George (ankle) unavailable and finished with a team-high 19 field goal attempts. Bailey has been playing well over the past four games, averaging 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 triples per contest.
