Suns' Phillip Wheeler: Signs camp deal with Phoenix

Rotowire Sep 25, 2026

Wheeler signed a training camp contract with the Suns on Friday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot reports. Wheeler could compete for a regular-season roster spot in training camp. However, the organization now owns his G League rights, so it's possible he'll be waived before camp begins. Over 46 games with the G League's Osceola Magic last season, Wheeler averaged 14.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per showing.
