  • Knicks' Kevin McCullar: Sees action late in blowout

McCullar (knee) played the final 2:58 of Tuesday's 105-91 win over the 76ers, finishing with zero points (0-1 FG) and one foul during his time on the court.

While he was on assignment in the G League, McCullar was inactive for the Westchester Knicks' regular-season finale Saturday against the Capital City Go-Go due to right knee soreness, but the two-way player's ability to play in the tail end of a blowout win with the parent club three days later suggests that he's healthy again. McCullar has made just two appearances at the NBA level all season, and he'll likely rejoin Westchester when it begins its G League playoff run Thursday versus the Maine Celtics.

McCullar is with the Knicks during their training camp in Charleston, South Carolina, but is still rehabbing his left knee after undergoing surgery in the spring, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

  • Knicks' Kevin McCullar: Inks two-way pact

The Knicks signed McCullar (knee) to a two-way contract Monday.

After being selected by the club with the No. 56 overall pick of the 2024 Draft, McCullar will officially join the Knicks on a two-way pact. The 23-year-old's final collegiate season was cut short due to him undergoing surgery on his left knee, and he averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 26 regular-season games before being shut down. McCullar will likely spend most of his rookie season with the team's G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, as he is buried behind a plethora of talent at the forward spot.
