  • Knicks' Kevin McCullar: Inks two-way pact

    The Knicks signed McCullar (knee) to a two-way contract Monday. After being selected by the club with the No. 56 overall pick of the 2024 Draft, McCullar will officially join the Knicks on a two-way pact. The 23-year-old's final collegiate season was cut short due to him undergoing surgery on his left knee, and he averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 26 regular-season games before being shut down. McCullar will likely spend most of his rookie season with the team's G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, as he is buried behind a plethora of talent at the forward spot.

    McCullar (knee) was drafted by the Knicks with the No. 56 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. McCullar's final year at Kansas was cut short after he underwent a procedure on his left knee, which also prevented him from taking part in on-court drills during the NBA Draft Combine. However, McCullar's productive year at Kansas was enough to get him drafted, as he averaged 18.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 26 games.
