  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Team option picked up

The Pelicans informed Robinson-Earl on Friday that they will exercise his $2.2 million team option for 2024-25, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. After spending his first two professional seasons in Oklahoma City, Robinson-Earl joined the Pelicans in 2023-24 and made 39 regular-season appearances (one start). He averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game. Robinson-Earl will presumably be an end-of-bench frontcourt option again in 2024-25.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Available for Game 4

Robinson-Earl (ankle) has been cleared to play in Monday's Game 4 against the Thunder, Erin Summers of Bally Sports New Orleans reports. Robinson-Earl was added to the injury report as a game-time call due to a left ankle sprain, but he'll be available to take the floor if called upon. He hasn't had much of a role so far in this series, logging only five minutes in Game 2.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Fails to score in 12 minutes

Robinson-Earl racked up zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 117-108 loss to the Magic. Robinson-Earl put up a bag full of nothing in the loss, continuing his underwhelming season. He is well outside the top 400 this season, playing in just 34 games. With no clear path to minutes, there is no reason to think his role will change, making him a non-factor in all formats.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Muted role continues in win

Robinson-Earl chipped in two points (1-1 FG) in three minutes during Friday's 111-88 win over the Heat. Robinson-Earl saw just three minutes, continuing what has been a disappointing season. He has scored double-digits only three times all season while seeing the court a total of 31 times.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Inks new deal

Robinson-Earl signed a standard two-year NBA contract with the Pelicans on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Robinson-Earl was previously operating under a two-way contract and made 21 appearances for the Pelicans, averaging 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game. Despite being upgraded to a standard deal, his role will likely remain limited as long as Jonas Valanciunas, Larry Nance and Cody Zeller (knee) are available.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Not listed on injury report

Robinson-Earl (illness) isn't listed on the Pelicans' injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Clippers. Robinson-Earl missed the Pelicans' 117-106 win over Minnesota on Wednesday but should be available Friday. However, he's garnered inconsistent playing time this year, and New Orleans is mostly healthy, so Robinson-Earl shouldn't garner a fantasy-relevant role versus Los Angeles.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Late scratch Wednesday

Robinson-Earl is out for Wednesday's game versus the Timberwolves due to a non-COVID illness. Robinson-Earl has been an inconsistent part of New Orleans' rotation, even when available. His next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with the Clippers.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Efficient as reserve

Robinson-Earl registered 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes during Thursday's 123-104 victory over the Cavaliers. Robinson-Earl saw increased run Thursday with the Pelicans shorthanded in the frontcourt, and he made the most of his opportunity with an efficient showing from the floor. Although Thursday's performance was encouraging, he'll likely continue to be on the fringes of the rotation once the team is back to full health.

  • Pelicans' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Nears double-double in start

Robinson-Earl notched 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 122-101 loss to Minnesota. Robinson-Earl got the start Wednesday due to New Orleans dealing with a handful of injuries, hauling in a team-high rebound total while finishing one board short of a double-double. Robinson-Earl made his first appearance of the regular season for the Pelicans and could see extended playing time while New Orleans works through an early-season injury bug.

Robinson-Earl signed a two-way contract with the Pelicans on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. • Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Waived by Houston

Robinson-Earl was waived by the Rockets on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Robinson-Earl was traded from the Thunder to the Rockets last week but was unable to land a spot on Houston's final roster. He made 91 appearances for Oklahoma City over the past two seasons and averaged 7.2 points and 4.9 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game. It seems likely that he'll be able to find work elsewhere during the 2023-24 campaign.

  • Rockets' Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Traded to Houston

Robinson-Earl was traded to the Rockets on Tuesday, along with Victor Oladipo, in exchange for Kevin Porter and two second-round picks, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The Thunder were facing some difficult roster decisions ahead of Opening Night, but by acquiring and then immediately waiving the turbulent Porter, they were able to clear two roster spots while acquiring future assets. Houston has a bevy of young frontcourt options in Jabari Smith, Alperen Sengun, Jock Landale and Tari Eason, but Robinson-Earl should be able to compete for an end-of-rotation spot with his new team.

  • Thunder's Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Draws start Sunday

Robinson-Earl is starting Sunday against the Grizzlies, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. Robinson-Earl totaled just six minutes of playing time over the Thunder's last five games, but he'll draw the start for the shorthanded club Sunday since the team is locked into its seed in the Play-In Tournament. He started 19 matchups earlier this year and averaged 8.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in 23.1 minutes per game.

  • Thunder's Jeremiah Robinson-Earl: Shows signs of life with 14 points

Robinson-Earl racked up 14 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds in 17 minutes during Friday's 116-111 loss to the Lakers. Robinson-Earl had been a non-factor for OKC of late, as he entered Friday having played in just three of the team's previous seven games and averaging a meager 1.3 points and 3.0 rebounds over 8.3 minutes during that stretch. The Villanova product made his presence known against Los Angeles, however, tallying his highest point total since early December on the strength of an efficient 5-for-6 shooting line. The Thunder are clawing to remain in the Western Conference playoff picture, so Robinson-Earl may not see this level of playing time moving forward despite his strong effort Friday.
